The Cisco CCNA 2007 Certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN.
Who should attend?
Anyone wishing to attain their CCNA Certification or gain the equivalent knowledge.
The CCNA qualification will be achieved by passing the following exams:
• CCNA Exam 640-822 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1
• CCNA Exam 640-816 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2
Course overview
This new Cisco CCNA 2007 Certification includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. This new Cisco CCNA 2007 Certification also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
Pre-requisites
Previous experience with Cisco hardware is not necessary but delegates should have a basic understanding of network environments.
